I'll be getting the Army Book as soon as I see one in Games Workshop. Forget the price, I want it (mainly because I want to play Asrai (proxy models), and so I can read up on the Rules to help the site more, and a lot of other things). For about £12, I think it'll be worth buying.
As to the above post, PrinceHaldin, I would advise selling it on Ebay at a starting price of £8, it will most likely go up, due to the hyper Asrai players.

They did make a lot more then 300, but if you work for GW you got a chance to get it first. At my local GW I know that at least 3 of them were getting one each.Dark Watcher wrote:i dont understand that if GW wanted to sell heaps and make lots of money why they didnt make more box sets to keep up with demand i mean 300 is just stupid for the long awaited wood elves.
If suplly doesnt meet demand thats just bad management
The saving you make buying the army deal isn't really that great anyway, especially if you don't even intend on using most of the models in it. It's a pain that most of us have to wait for an extra month to get our hands on the Army Book but what can you do.
got mine 2 weeks ago and it is both perfect and every model is gorgeous (iv heard that gw is doing a price hike before the woddie stuff come out and the fact that the bsb is limeteted made me very keen to get it

Have fun in Cologne then.
I studied over there half a year.
A wonderful town.
If you have the time, go to the Cathedral early or late, when there aren't many tourist and just sit for a while.
I have to admit I read medieval Crime Stories (Ellis Peters "Cadfael") sitting there in the evening.
It heightened the sense of "being there" ...
Cheers !
