Great videos and beautiful work! I'd love to see some more videos on air brush techniques for miniatures.

Tuladin: Currently we are working mostly on our "The Edge" project and we are quite busy with it. The new tutorials will certainly appear, but not in the near future. Right now we are gathering ideas for new videos from You, so if you have any suggestions, feel free to post them, we'll see what we can do.:)

Just off the top of my head: (this may just be a post and not a tutorial, you decide)

1. Paint prep and when to change.
2. When to and when not to air brush.
3. Equipment basics (size of brush etc.)

I'd like to see some glade guard done start to finished to table top standard.

Keep up the great work!

LOL. Np.

The more I think about it, finger painting miniatures seems significantly harder than an airbrush.

1. If i understand correctly, you are asking how to prepare to the process of painting and how recognize the old, unusable paints. Well, try to dilute your paints (often straingt-from bottle is just too thick). Generally speaking, when the paint is starting to being grainy, thick or even stiff, even if after dipping the brush in it leaves the pigment, the paint have lower quaility. You can use it for some time, but after all, it will become rather unusable. Try to have your paints fresh as long as you can.
2. You can use the airbrush to paint literally everything - but it is mostly usable on big, plain surfaces, such as vehicles, banners or cloaks, where you can easily paint nice gradients. Using the tool to paint the army is a bit harder, but a bit of practice should help. The most annoying rather than difficult part is the celaning process - it's time consumable and you must do that everytime you change the colour.
3. Have several brushes of varying sizes - the big ones are not exactly necessary, try to have some detail brushes, the ones to put on the base colours, the drybrush one; italso help to have separate brushes (and water pots) for metallic and non-metallic paints.

For now there is a little chance of doing such tutorial (glade guards), sorry. But maybe you will find something suitable in those existing.
Hope that help.

Thanks! This is great.
Actually for 1 I meant is there anything additional that you have to do to GW or Vallejo paints to make them usable in the airbrush?
2. What about coming up in highlights? Do you clean then if it's in the same color range?
3. We're talking about Air brush sizes right?

No worries, I discovered that there are a lot of tutorials on youtube already. T

ad1. Now that's clear.:) Yes, "straight out of bottle" they are too thick. Mix in some water for them to be usable in the airbrush.
ad2. No. When highlighting, just mix in some lighter colour (white or some kind of beiges for more muted higlights). Cleanig is a must-be when you change the colours.
ad3. No.;) I was talking about the common brushes. An airbrush (not a spray gun) after the nozzle regulation is able to make very fine line as well as to spray big surfaces, you do not need to worry about the "sizes" of an airbrush.

Awesome! Thank you.

Last question. Can you recommend a good starter setup?

To be honest, the cheapest ones are just enough to begin with and learn. Really :)
