Now that its sticky, I removed the errors from the original post.
I ordered my second Treeman. I'm thinking of going for a dual-sword Durthu conversion. Or maybe with his his backhand raised - ready for a good slapping.
Treemen are amazing monster hunters. Can rip apart any low I monster, S4 flaming breath is nothing. Love to charge a Mage bus and direct all attacks at the wiz.
Their best job is taking it for the team - Treemen eat shooting. Last game versus HE, he slowly marched up, weathering 3 turns of 4x bolt thrower shooting, finally charging in and ripping them apart.
On a side note; I've named him Morgan.

That item would be in every list.
That item is a horse...

With the new 50% lords rule, we can now field Durthu with a lv4 highweaver on unicorn. Lot of fun possibilities can crop up with that combo running around.

Re: Durthu, Eldest of Ancients
With Khaine magic, Durthu became a loremaster of beasts (with lots and lots of dice). This is pretty cool, as now he can do more than just wildform. If you add pelt & wildform, hes got 10 toughness! That might even keep him survive a gunline. He becomes a lot more adaptable and a lot of fun.

Used Durthu in my last game. A Close Combat no magic list at 1500pts v OnG. He was immense. Will definitely take him again.
