2400 ETC WE vs O&G

Im using the lates ETC drawft for wood elves.
Its my first battle report, so plz give me feedback on whats good and what you'd like me to do better.

I vanguard my Wild Riders and Sisters.
Waywatchers on right flank was a bit to close to the Goblin Big Boss and got charged, got one wound through on Stand and Shoot. The one fight is a pillow fight, but I stay stubborn in the forest.

Magic: 5-3. Pull my scroll.
He doom dive the starfire Glade Guards and kill 5.

Turn 1 WE

I charge the Goblin Big Boss and kill it with the waywatchers before the Spirit Lord could hit, re-roll to wound rolls on 1 is good :)
The Wild Riders fighting the Troll only get 2 wounds through so the Troll can hit back and kills 2 riders, the steed finnish of the troll and overrun on to the hill.
I fly the right flank eagle on top of the mangler squig to get it of the table and make room for the sisters bunker.

Magic: 9-5. I get of Doom of Darkness on the Savage Big'Uns block. Get him to use scroll.

Shoot and kill of two Trolls after gette a wound of with flaming. Starfire GG are good, +1 to wound is gold.

Trolls fail stupidity test, my Doom of Darkness on the Generals ld pays off :)
Savage Big'Uns reform and move forward. Night Goblins move forward and shoot without hitting anything.
Warmachines scatters or fail to wounds, was targeting the Starfire GG but they still live.

Magic: 6-4. Gets of Foot of Gork, but it scatters 2" away, just enought to not hit the Starfire GG.

Rock Lobber 2 missfires and dies.

Turn 2 WE

Great Eagle fail its charge and stumble 3" forward.
Moves in positions for shooting, magic and countercharging the trolls.
My Glade Riders gets in.

Magic: 9-5. Get of soulblight on the Trolls, thats huge.
Shoot of 5 Trolls.

Turn 3 O&G

The Savage Big'Uns fail its frenzy and have to charge my left GG Trueflight unit, I flee and get out of range for a 2nd charge from the Night Goblins.
The troll fail stupidity and eat some urbs in the wood.

Magic: 4-4. Misscast the movespell and move Night Goblins to defend warmachines. Loose a few Big'Uns and take a wound on caster.

Shooting fail to take down the Great Eagle. The Night Goblins had reformed before he moved them with magic, so they could not shoot.

Turn 3 WE

Wild Riders charge in and kill the troll, overrun into waywatchers in front.
Eagle finaly gets in, kill the doom diver and overrun into the next.
Try to move Glade Riders out of charge arc, but fail march test and cant get out.
Fleeing GG rally.

Magic: 9-5. Not much happen

Start shooting at Big'Uns and waywatchers on right pick of the last Mangler Squig.

Night Goblins charge Gladre Riders, Great Eagle are in fight with 2nd Doom Diver after overrun last turn.
Big'Uns stumble forward, dont remember why. This some ld test failed and he had to.

Magic: 5-3. He finaly dispells Doom of Darkness. No more failed ld :( Not much else happens.

Night Goblins win combat and Glade Riders flee of board, the NG overrun of board as well.
GE win combat since the DD had a wound from the GR (forgot to put it in), and reform to charge the Rock Lobber.

Turn 4 WE

Charge the last Rock Lobber with the Great Eagle.
Move around to get to shoot what I got at the Big'Uns.

Magic: 12-6. Gets curse of anrahir on rock lobber.

Turn 5 O&G

Night Goblins get back on table and moves forward.
Big'Uns reform to cast magic on my sisters.

Magic: 8-5. Gets foot of gork on the sisters, kills 3 sisters and puts 1 wound on my BSB.

The Eagle fail to kill the Rock Lobber, win but the rock lobber sticks.

Turn 5 WE

I move out of charge arch and line up for shooting and magic.
Wild Riders i pull out of range of foot of gork and stuff that can kill them.

Magic: 11-6. I get of Purple sun, doom of darkness and soulblight, awesome magic phase.

After shooting and magic only the General is left ;)
The Great Eagle finaly finnish of the Rock Lobber.

Turn 6 O&G

His Warboss charge the waywatchers but fail. I stand and shoot.

Magic: 9-5. He has nothing to cast, so dispell doom of darkness with all dice.

Turn 6 WE

I move, shoot and magic his general of the board.

Magic: 7-6.


The end
Its was a big win for me, and after my crushing defeat against Dark Elves, it was nice to give and not get the beating ;)
