Free Forest Magical or not?

ok so sorry i should know this but they keep makeing me doubt it.

In our book it says that our forest isnt a mysteriouse forest but that we have to say its type when we place it does that mean
it cant be a special forest or can we choose what kind of forest it is (for example a abysol wood or venom thicket)

They are not Mysterious Forests, because those are randomly discovered and rolled for when a unit moves into them.

Your free forest is whatever type of forest you choose, as indicated by the armybook. Normal, Blood Forest, Abyssal Wood, etc...
