Hello folks!

We are bringing back painting challenges. To gear up for <insert rumour here>, it's time we all paint something up.

Your February challenge is

a Character

Any Lord, Hero or Special Character in the Wood Elf book. The point is to paint a new model. We are encouraging people to paint.

New changes! PM me a link to your image so they are secret until voting starts.

Also the winner gets a shiny medal attached to their profile =)

Closing date Feb 28th.

Hmm maybe I will enter...Mainly because I need another reason besides my tournament to get my rear in gear and painting.

Edit: Any restrictions on models? Like should we use the stock wood elf models OR converted characters OR Treeman? lol

We are hoping for a character, there are 16 in the current range. Perhaps it will be beneficial to run multiple mages next edition.

I'll sit this one out I have 12/16 including 3 mages already painted

I will be participating.

Right, I'm really enjoying being back into painting my Wood Elves and updating them a bit more, but I'm still the insanely slow painter that I've been for 20 years (at least I'm consistent). This'll give me a good incentive to finally finish my Alter that I bought and began converting when the model first came out.

I'd love to see mine when I search for wood elves!

Think I might enter this one, a Highborn from an Eternal or Waywatcher Kindred could of course be fun to convert and paint?

Yes, the site is crawled by all the major search engines, so image search may display your pictures. E.g. if you search for Wood Elf Glade Guard Standard Bearer you can see one of the images from my painting log here on asrai.org (of course, Google tailors your results to you, so you may have slightly different results).

But I want to enter with my Treeman Ancient that I'm currently trying to finish. She is custom built, so I got a little confused with the rulings of the challenge. You stated
