6 points BS 3, and long bows. 5 point upgrade for the unit to get flaming attacks and they can get upgraded to skirmish at 1 point a model, and defensive stakes for free.
They are the best archers in the game.

I've run 40 Bret archers. Pretty solid unit. Points cost and lack of synergy is killing our book.
