my general will stand and shoot with his "pistols".
hitting on 5 for charging:
2d6
5 + 6 = 11
misses

alright, 1 belcher is dead in the butchers unit.

1 leadbelcher is dead in the other unit, and one take a wound. saves from the scouts:
2d6
5 + 6 = 11
1 saved, so another is down to 1 wound.

maximizing the bruiser should be in there too, but 4 saves at 6+:
4d6
3 + 1 + 5 + 5 = 14
none, ouch.

bruiser will attack back against the hawks:
4d6
1 + 3 + 2 + 6 = 12
2 hits, wounding on 2s:
4d6
1 + 3 + 2 + 6 = 12
2 wounds.
maximizing puts an irongut in with the dryads so 2 will attack the hawks and 1 dryads, in that order:
9d6
6 + 6 + 6 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 29
4 hits on the hawks, nada on dryads:
9d6
6 + 6 + 6 + 4 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 29
hawks are gone.

i have 3 wounds, standard, warbanner and outnumber to your 4 wounds, so you lose by 2.

I dint think i had to align my troops so that the bruiser could attack. Well well In that case i would have aligned so more dryads could attack too. But i'll take my test at -2 Don't think it would have mattered much anyway towards the outcome of this game.
2d6 +2
5 + 4 + 2 = 11
failed
the dryads flee
2d6
3 + 1 = 4
4"

my god the dice have really bin against me in this game

Might as well call it, yeah. ;)

Would you mind pointing out where you think I did wrong?
First of all I think it was to early for me to play such a large game.

against a list of multiwound, low armour guys, especially with your 50 or so shots per turn i would've avoided getting into combat so early, as, stuck behind my gnoblar screen you could have relocated most of your units to the left side away from me and continued shooting before i got across the map.

A lot of people talk about multiple charges, and those are definitely important, but how you set them up is important too. putting multiple units into somethings front doesn't work very well at all, and often can hinder you getting enough attacks. Putting things like lone altars into units where you have to inflict 6 wounds to recieve no attacks back is very dangerous, which you learned the hard way. You had some nice baits set up at the beginning, but unfortunately didn't have anything to capitalize with, so don't bother setting them up unless you know you have something to hit back with. You really really need those flank charges where you can inflict a large amount of damage for little return.

Yeah I know that flank charges is vital but I just couldn't find the room to set them up. Also I kinda relied on some occasions for units to hold for 1 round so that the flank could get in next turn. But I guess I should have planned for the worst in any case. Anyway. Thanks for the game, it's bin a pleasure. I've learned alot.

Shure.

Shall we say 1500?
Iwhen it comes to opposing army i just don't wanna play a powerhouse army but one I can learn from playing agaisnt. something balanced.

As to my own list i wanted to try an all tree list with only one spellsinger as an elf (the elf and the trees) but i'm trying something like that in another game. But I have another army which is abit unusual that i could try. stil working on that list though.

Can you find a map? should we just continue on the same dicelog?

ill make a new dicelog as that ones rather big. i can play OnG, WoC, OK, VC, or WE, you can pick which you'd like to face. i'll try to make a list thats not too cheezy, though my usual gaming buddies tend to powergame a bit so i have a habit of making hard lists.
