Looks nice! maybe you could apply some more horizontal stripes so it looks less like hair and even more like bark. anyways, nice job.

i'm assuming that you found turin's tutorial helpful, as it looks similar to his/hers. One thing, in addition to what Ardanwen mentioned, is you should paint the eyes either black, or glowing...
otherwise, well done.

red would fit the autumn theme nicely, but maybe green would work too....just experiment?

Re: my scratch built treeman
I find luminious green eyes (putrid green) work well for my forest spirits, admittedly I haven't tried this on a treeman yet...

Re: my scratch built treeman
As Ryikko said, your Treeman has a lot of similarities with Turin's (as is therefore very good!)
It's a great model but I agree that glowing eyes would really top it off

Re: my scratch built treeman
I used space wolves grey with a rather good effect on my dryads, I'll make a foto when I get home (which is not before monday)
Re: my scratch built treeman
What about glow-in-the-dark paint? I've never used it, but it glows like no other..!
I quite like it so far, but with glowing eyes.. even better!

Re: my scratch built treeman
For smaller spirits I just use Putrid Green (I assume that is still around...)
For your treeman's larger eyes I suggest putrid green, green wash, putrid green & finally a point of yellow

Re: my scratch built treeman
I've mixed some Goblin Green with Bleached Bone yesterday for my Dryads eyes.. also quite nice.

Hi !
Thanks & Nice !
I like him, but the bent legs remind me of my struggling with the knees and the solution of the protruding bark ...
Apart from that it's a good idea to put "moss" on the branches ...
Good work !
