Thats a good idea. The position isn't very realistic, but I like the idea for it.

I agree, The pose doesn't fit right. But the idea is very good. I think you can fix it.

I would get the upper body more vertical.

I would also remove the rest of the leg, model some green stuff so that it fully covers the join and makes it look that they are the same thing, rather than some experiment.

that model looks like it'll be hard to fit squarly into base w/ an enemy unit unless you position him backwards.

I like the antlers, but I think that it was an inappropiate model to use for that conversion.

I am going to try to file down the other leg a bit and sculpt so that it looks like a horn is hanging from his belt.

Try cutting him so that he stands vertically rather than leaning back.

That was kind of what I was planning on doing. I know it is hard to make that model fit on a 25mm base so props for that. I agree that he could be a bit better but you said this was just your experiment sculpt so he is quite good for that.

Good idea. Pose not too bad. GS job not so good. <- That brings the quality of the model down a lot. Get somebody to teach you how to use it properly.

It is a good achievment to get it onto a 20mm base though.

I have re-sculpted it and undercoated it. More pictures will follow when it is finished. Now I am busy painting the spellsinger.

Looks good, altough I wouldnt have used that particular character model for the conversion; I would have waited for the actual Alter Kindred model and cut that one in half.

The greenstuff looks like a splodge of bluetack, I'd tidy that up a bit.

And it all fits on a small base! Does it balace and not tip over? :D

All in all, well done and a good concept.

I filed down the leg enough to sculpt a horn hanging from his belt.

Then the blob of green stuff is now removed and sculpted so it looks like his mantle, hard to explain and the join is also redone.

But for the pose I couldn't make him more vertical, this made the model fall over time after time so I guess I cant make anything about that since he need to be on a small base.

what you need to do is carry on the cloak so that it covers halve the horses body. This would however require a bit of skill with green stuff. But is a really good idea. And its good that it looks more noble than BoC centigor

You really need to spend more time on the conversion, before it was basically rushed (go on, admit it).

Put more effort into it and it will show, only little things are needed as well.

I'm thinking about dooing the same thing but with wild riders. Sort of alter kindreds but with the WR rules. I think you should keep working with GS on the mini adding a second layer to the cloack so it will cover the back of the noble and the upperback of the horsebody. Also some type of belly plate such as the OK guys have could make for a simple and cool cover for the front of this guy...

That is exactly what I am going to do with my Wild Riders also.
It saves you the £25 that the GW Wild Riders cost, and Centaurs are pretty cool :P

Sorry, but I don't like it. The two peices you used to make the conversion don't fit together very well.

The wild rider box is £20, 4 pounds each.
