Flying heroe model
Im looking for a replacement of the forthcoming WE heroe on eagle. I prefer a sitting elf than one standing. I thought of getting the WE heroe with greatsword and sawing of the wood he's standing on. Should be quit some work.
Any other options of a mounted WE noble?
I thought about Imrik's body, or at least his legs since he's wearing heavy armour. Dont know his long cloth will fit the bird.

The easy way out would be taking a glade or wild rider or the mounted forest lord, but they dont look too great imo.

I understand why you'd like an alternative .
I really like all of the newly released WE characters except the new Lord on Eagle model. I've no idea if this would fit or not, but maybe you could use the rider from the new Great stag model on the eagle?
As i said, this might not fit at all or, with a GS saddle, it might fit great!
Just a thought ,
Storm.

I think the cloth will be far to long for the eagle.
I don't know how big the eagle is, but the cloth of Imrik will probably reach more than half way to the ground.

I know one person who has one old hawk. They dont look glamorous.Delirium's Brother wrote:I hope this won't sound too stupid, but why don't you try and find somebody who wants to get rid of their old WE warhawk models and try converting one of those? It would have to be a lot easier than all of the sawing and glueing that you are suggesting.

On a similar note, I really like some of the DE Dark Rider figures. The one w/out a helmet and the one with a hood and mask are especially cool, and with very slight conversion would make very good Warhawk riders.Moonshadow wrote:I really like the DE cold one knights, esp the champ with dragon on his arm. Sadly they were too muc armour. Maybe if I paint it in copper, it won't harm the eye. My general is wearing light armour, shield and helm ot hunt.
cheers,

Im thinking of using WR legs for WH riders and mix the WR torso with spare dryad parts and have WR transform into centaurs. Take this example:Jimmytrout wrote: On a similar note, I really like some of the DE Dark Rider figures. Now, dark riders are cool but for a general they might be too humble. Will see.
