Dryad Eye Colours

Postby Firelupus » 20 May 2014, 06:04

Hi all,

As some you you may be aware i am competing in a Duel with other gamers called you guessed it Duelling Gamers, the esteemed Beithir Seun is also a participant, but i need some help from you my fellows.

I cannot for the life of me get my dryad eye color right, i am not looking to do the glowy blue eyes that Tuhis has shared with it all as it doesn't suit my color pallete, even though it is super awesome.

Check my blog link for pictures, my army is an Autumn theme at this stage.

I will attempt to post pictures here as well, but i don't have that ability at work.

Edit here are some pictures of my forest spirits.

Evil Sunz Scarlet eyes look very cool on dark colored dryads, although you may not be painting them dark.

I think your Dryads are a bit tricky in this regard; red would be the "traditional" autumnal choice, but with the colour scheme you've used for your Dryads red eyes may not stand out enough with the bright orange leaves and the fairly mid-range browns. You want an altogether different, contrasting colour for the eyes. I'd be tempted to try a bright white glowy eyes effect, rather than the blue that Tuhis uses, but it might take a bit of trial-and-error trying different colours until you stumble on to one you like :smirk:
