Does anybody know why the Treeman Ancient dropped down to 3 attacks?
Treeman: 5
Ancient: 3
Durthu: 6
It seems unusual. Thoughts? Could it be a typo?

I think most of us noticed, though I did not on first check though.
I do think it is intended. In the old book Ancients and regular Treemen had more or less the same role, only in different point sections, so you could take more. The Ancient now seems intended as a caster primarily in contrast with a hard-hitting monster.

I think of it as they're more wise and less angry and crazy, so they don't fight as much as cast. Durthu, on the other hand, is completely bonkers...

Yeah I thinks it's because there older and slower, now choosing to use magic instead of the younger treemen who just want to get amongst it and smash face. Also from a game perspective they have lowered the points values from treemen and ancients so they had to loose something from somewhere or else people will start crying.
Its been too long since we burned a heretic, witch hunt anyone !??
