Pruned User Database

Post by Naggie »

I just performed a user pruning. All users who have not logged in after 2010-01-01 and has a total post count of 0 have been deleted. That means we just "lost" over 800 members. But it also meant that our massive database is now not as massive anymore.

If they haven't logged on in 3.6 years, they won't need to log on now either.

I was just kidding, it's a good idea to clear away all that useless scum.

And let that be a lesson to all. DONT let 3 1/2 years go by without a post or you'll be dumped. And then you'll be sorry. (Your post count will start over from zero!)
So it's no longer the BRB, now it's the DERB. (Digital Edition Rule Book) I am all in for 9th Age.

3.5 years without logging in. You don't need to post :)
Not logged in since 2010-01-01 AND post count equal to 0 was dumped at this round.
In the future, I might delete all who has not logged on since 2011-01-01, regardless of post count.

Ack, no. I would rather delete everyone with zero post count. I hate going back somewhere after several years to find that they deleted my account :-(

hey, i was one of those useless lurkers, watched and red the site for several years and gleaned alot of tactical advice for playing my wood elves against my friend's lizardmen. Now with the new book out and my long period of silence on this site, i would like very much to contribute to many of the conversations here.
