Best Highborn/Noble v Skaven

Hi All,
I have a game coming up against Skaven. I'm looking for idea's on a suitable Highborn/Noble (or more than one)
Probably will be mounted on an Eagle, and/or could go in EG.
Any suggestions?

A good one is the machine gun high born so bow of loren and starfire arrows perfect for low leadership guys

Most skaven will be LD10 with reroll or immune to psychology. I wouldn't recommend machinegunning starfire arrows at all.

Yep, despite appearances skaven ld is one of the best in the fan with the general and bsb still alive.
So kill them!

Noble, alter kindred, helm of the hunt, rageths wildfire blades, potion of strength.

Run him at the grey seer (easier to kill) or bsb. 5 strength 7 attacks will give it a run or its money. May fail to work, but the look on an opponents face would make it worth it when it does.

Eagle characters will get completely shut down by the storm banner. I do not recommend using them against skaven.

Yeah Skaven leadership is way too awesome! I don't think machine gunning would do much good.
I'm assuming you are taking the flaming arrows in case your opponent has a hell-pit abomination right? Good move.

Wild Riders would be a good shout because you would be able to clear some distance and maneuver around the blocks of rats, plus I reckon they would be alright against a doomwheel! A mate mine plays a dual Doom wheel list. Stay off to the flank!

I don't know what to recommend against the bell though! I think if you can clear the horde around it, that it can't move? Something like that. Maybe?! Haha!

Hopefully you will get Dwellers. That should do some damage.

Watch out for the "something 13" spell! I can't remember much about it, but it either kills your unit or turns them into rats!

Yes Ok so the leadership of skaven as I have found out is pretty good! any way the bonus is you get a chance to kill other people in the army while the big sledgehammer unit flees for a turndue to the start fire arrows causing them to panic when they don't save a wound
