The theme of this army is Druchii invading Lustria. I wanted an atypical Druchii army in terms of appearance, as I was not a fan of how most Druchii armies use purple. However I liked a lot of the blues. I figured I'd go with green, and a bright green, so I could have an army that would catch the eye. I liked the idea of green and blue together for a color scheme for a long time, for several reasons, and I figured I'd try it out on the Dark Elves. I'm quite happy with the result.
The first unit I painted was the Dark Riders, and I was teased a bit by the local group as they thought it was Wood Elves at first... until I pulled out my Dark Elf book.
So I'm hoping you might find it interesting and will appreciate it. I might not be able to cross use it that well, though I have given it a thought even if it wouldn't be that effective of an army for WE.
I removed the img tags, so it'll be less demanding on a browser, some of the pics are big to give you a fair warning!

Yes, I added static grass to the army. It really helped the basing. Plus the black obsidian skull is no more. I decided it didn't look right.

nice toxic green there, makes a nice change (not a fan of purple myself).

Thank you! I'm doing a different style of purple and blue for my friend's Dark Elves (all his armies were stolen and thrown away by an ex... so he has me painting one army while he paints another). Purple is very tricky when used with blue and black. Visually it just kinda blends leaving very little to catch the eye.
I know how to use image tags, but thanks. ;-) The images were just to big (bigger than 900 pixels), so I just left them as URLs as I was too lazy to resize them. :P
