Re: Dreadlord on Black Dragon
That's great work Allendor! Excellent stuff
Where did you get the dragon (or what parts have you used to make it)?

Re: Dreadlord on Black Dragon
@Beithir as Herald said and I.D'd for me (See Dragon ID in the medow of arts and thanks again Herald) it is a Citadel Lava dragon which I got on e-bay for a steel.
I did modify it a bit by turning the head forward and compleatly covering the base with a new plastic one adding stones and gravel.
I added the ear rings (there was one on the model that I removed and replaced with my own) and the chains.
The saddle is scratch built from styrene along with the Halberds sheath. The Halberd came from dark riders standard and represents Crimson death.
Then came the rider a Dreadlord on dark steed which fit pretty good and I can put him on either the steed or dragon.
I put a post in the rider and holes in the saddle to assure he doesn't fall (can't have that)
@Red_Dryad I based the dragon black then highlighted with dark grey then light grey.
Then washed the dragon with Asurmen blue, that came out quite blue so I washed over that with black.
I am happy with the way that came out.
@Jus and Herald. What is this months challange? Edit; OK it's flyers, I guess this qualifies but I am working on a my Ealgle Elf (Hmmm we'll see)
I did enter him into "Maelstrom Games Druchii.net Painting Competition" over on D.net.
