Well, I'm a Japanese major and the other day I had been doing some homework then peered into my wood elf book and saw that some of the wood elf runes were rather similar to Katakana (the Japanese syllabery for foreign words, sounds, etc.) and that by bending some of the katakana and adding swirls they made prefect wood elf glyphs.
So I made just a few for example that you can see here:

you can google katakana to get the full syllabery and make your own, though it wont work on the other two Japanese written languages because Hirigana already is loopy and swirly, and Kanji is the devil.
