Werewolf Model

Post by Wytchwethyl the Wild »

I want to do a werewolf themed BoC army, and fluffwise everything works, but i still need a model for;

Lycan Lord(Doombull)
Were-Kin(Gors and Ungors)
Wolf Shaman(Brayshaman)
Lycans(Minotaurs)
Lycan Ancient(Shaggoth)

I was thinking for the larger werewolves i could use a yeti bodi with a converted chaos warhound head. I am happy to use miniatures from other companies as i never enter tournies.

Suggestions greatly appreciated.
When the Darkness of the heart,
Dances to the Rythm of Battle.
And your Blades spin the story of the Lost,
Then Loec walks by your side.
He calls you to dance and laugh forever more,
For in war the dance Lasts for ever.....

You can even use some of the warlocks as your wolf shamons.

Check them out.

I'm currently converting some "minotaurs" using Rat Ogre bodies and Lion heads.
The plastic Rat Ogres really do strike me as the best place to start when wanting "ogre"-sized were-kin.

GW's selection of wolf heads are a bit rubbish but can be passable, failing that take a look around some other model companies, you may be able to get some of the old Rakham Wolfen things for cheap as stores sell the last of their metal stocks.

I'm very tempted to make a norse army full of Were-Kin but at the moment making cool things for my beastman army is a bit easier cause I've already got all the core units I'd need.

I don't know what made me take the huge sidestep into using Lion heads for my first conversions, it just struck me as an awesome idea at the time. :D

Ever heard of Wolfen of Yilla, minis from famous Rackham miniatures? Those model would be great for your army. Some warriors or other models instead of minotaurs and Worgs for your Shaggoths.

And about gors and ungors, yes, that might be a problem. I had same idea about BoC, but I gave up because I couldnt find anything to use for conversions. If you find something, let me know! :D

EDIT: ups, i should read what ppl are saying before posting something. :o
