Hi all,
Instead of spending nearly $200 on 2 units of Metal wild Riders, I have decided to instead spend $50 and get a box of Glade Riders. These combined with my extras form the other box will go together to make me 2 units of Wild Riders
Here is what i have done on my Wild Riders so far:

I plan on filling the hole in the back with Green stuff, but that's about it so far. I'd like them to look at least a bit different then the Glade guard, but I have no experience with Green Stuff, so I can't really do anything too epic.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Matthew

From this bit there is not too much advice to give - or too much
You could take some greenstuff and make shapes for mantles. once it is dried (about a day later) you could put a thin layer of GS on it and make fur. As for the horses, there are plenty nice ideas to make them look a bit more special. 'Simple' war painting, leafs that cover their backs, make another headpiece.
The riders themselfes could get some layers of GS to give them different clothes. You could try to make centaurs and/ or use dryad bits on your wild riders. Just browse a bit around this site in the meadow and you'll find some neat ideas. I.e. unicorn's conversions or Corai's blog.

Re: Suggestions for my Wild Rider Conversions?
Take the basic cloaks
Cut out the quivers
Cover the outer side with slim GS layer
Take the pin and change this GS into furr-like surface
It is easy and somehow effective; and will make them significantlydifferent from basic GRs

I tired doing that, but I just couldn't remove the Quiver well enough to not make the whole thing looks like crap. Are you talking about using the Glade Rider or Glade Guard cloaks to do this?unicorn wrote:Take the basic cloaks

Try to do it slowly, in layers, part by part. Or ignore crappy look and add one more GS layer to repair this.matthewmw64 wrote:I tired doing that, but I just couldn't remove the Quiver well enough to not make the whole thing looks like crap.
You can take both, but I think GR cloaks are better for thisAre you talking about using the Glade Rider or Glade Guard cloaks to do this?
