70 dollar WE deal!

Post by Spaar »

I wanted to expand my WE army by doubling the amount of Eternal Guard that I had from 20 to 40. The problem was that I wanted to get some other models as well and I had a budget of $70. So, I decided to get creative and buy a box of High Elf spearmen and a box of Glade Guard. I ended up getting 20 Eternal Guard, 8 Wardancers (1 is missing from the pics), and 4 heroes. Granted, I have a decent bitz box going and so I was able to find some good stuff to help out, but this is the way to get EG if you have modeling skills.

I have put this unit of 20 with the normal metal figs and they fit right in when I mix the 2 together. Enjoy the pics!

Here's all of them!

Eternal Guard. I only had to model like 4 capes on them. I clipped the high elf helms and made them match the original EG models.

Wardancers. Again, 1 of them is missing, but I did get 8.

Sorry for the links, I was getting error messages when I tried to embed them.

Realy nice modelling, I'd like to see some better close-up shots of them. Maybe you could put some gs leafing on the shields and vines round the spears?

Great use of the plastics sets! If I didn't already have a fair few Eternal Guard models, I would consider stealing your idea! Nice work Spaar
