Merry Christmas

Post by Naggie »

Like I always do, a week or so before christmas the skin of this site mysteriously changes into a red and white foray of glimmering lights and whatnot. This year is, as you see, no different. Don't be alarmed when your usually green site suddenly turned red.

And I'd like to take the opportunity to apologise to any non-christians around the site.
Also, I want to mention that I haven't made a link to the chatroom, nor to the LEAF in this new skin. Instead, you can use these links to reach the sections:
The LEAF: http://www.asrai.org/leaf
Chatroom: http://www.warvault.net/albion

The Chatroom is not the usual one, mainly because I'm too lazy to create a new template and skin it with this new christmas skin and all. It's a bit much work. Instead, I'll link you to the official Albion site on the Warvault server.

Enjoy the holidays! And let it be snow!

I find it too confusing though it does look good-why are normal names in blue?

Normal names has always been blue, just a lot darker. That dark tone didn't look good on the Xmas skin, so I brightened them up.

I guess being the slightest bit colourblind didn't help me with the colour of the names

I totally agree, Tethlis.
I've always watched out when handling fireworks, et voilà, you have your eyes explodes because of the World Wide Web!

However, it looks very nice, I really have the "Winter! Christmas! Santa! Presents!" feeling.

Good! I, myself, have been lacking that feeling due to the weather (no snow for a month, not even degrees below 0 until a few days ago). It just didn't feel like christmas. With this skin I hope to spread the real feeling of these holidays.

It is so nice! Made me happy just by opening the page!

Now I would so much like a version of my avatar with a "tomteluva"!
