Albion Chat Room is Back!

After many long hours if fiddling with images and colours, I've finally made a chat page that looks a bit like our forum. Once you are logged in, you should now see a link between the "Members" link and the "User Control Panel" up in the navigation buttons below the site banner. When hitting that link, you should be taken to a new window where the older version of the java applet loads (the newer pop-up version could not be added to this system - yet).

I have yet to add everything, so it might look a bit empty and dull, but I'll get working on that later. At least you got something now.
Also, I have yet to test the chat page in all browsers, so report any bug in here so I know. Thanks.

I use Mozilla Firefox on Ubuntu (linux). When starting the chatroom and accepting the java protocol the webbrowser shuts down.

This is the error messeage I get.

Looks like your virus program/firewall does not allow firefox to operate correctly to run the applet.
Did you get this error everytime, or just once?

every time. I might be on a harder firewall then usual. Will try it from home.

Sorry for the late reply, but this just occurred to me.

Running the chat applet requires downloading the Java applet itself, so if you're running XP or Vista it may be blocking the download or you may even have Java/Javascript turned off.
