[IMPORTANT!] Asrai.org Server Stuff

Tomorrow sometime, Kul and I will be doing a MAJOR change to the server we are on. The actual change isn't big for you, but it will require long loading times for us. What we are going to do is to change the domain basically. From woodelves.org/Asrai/index.php to the better woodelves.org/index.php. Right now, our entire site is stored in one folder on our server, but after this change, the site will be directly on the server. All links to posts, images, profiles etc will all change. So if you have anything linked here from other boards, you may want to update those URLs soon.

Once the change has been completed, it is up to me and those who wants to help with changing every link we can see on this site to the new improved URL. That may take a while, so don't be afraid if a link doesn'twork. Just remember it and send a PM to me if you cannot change it yourself.

The files have been moved now, and some necessary changes have been made. if you click a link, and it does not work, make sure there is no /Asrai/ in it. The same goes for pictures. Might you encounter something that doesn't work properly (logging in/out, buttons, profile, etc), please report to one of the admins ASAP.

If you have a link in your profile (like your signature), go to "Profile", find the link, and change it (delete the /Asrai). It's as simple as that. Same with posts. I will try to read all posts in all forums over the following days, so I'll have some work cut out for me

Can't I change them in the Fluff and Fiction section? I haven't really done much experimenting with these sorts of features yet.

The upload pic feature doesn't work.

I get "General Error Image-directory not found."

Yep. I've tried to change the directory, but it just won't change. I might need to reinstall the whole uploadpic feature...

Those with in my sig are working again, and I don't feel like looking up all my post with those smilies.

The guide navigation block has been updated, and works properly now.

*update 2*
The uploadpic directory has been changed. It's 2 minutes of work if you just edit the database.. But it was hard to find as the DB app shows only the 30 1st values for each table, and the uploadpic config was around number 60.. :\

Good to have the two fixes made. Now it only leaves the portal links to fix...

I have gone through almost all stickies and the guides and fixed the links. I will work the P&M forum images now. If you see more links that needs to be fixed, send me a PM or post in here.
