Major Errors

Another update: The Chat is now up and fully functional (well not quite, I'm gonna put in the smiles so that they show in the chat applet - that will take a while)

EDIT: Now all smiles work in all the three Asrai.org skins (Asrai.org, TWS and subSilver). The graphic images are static and will sometimes not look exactly as you wanted them to, but they are the correct images

I got this error message while posting in the Armylist forum.

Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 535 Error: authentication failed

Found the error, and got rid of it (a simple spelling mistake when trying to change the password for the mailer daemon that sends out the mail notifications).

New icons. They probably do, considering that this is a 'green' forum and the icons look somewhat like metal.

It's just me testing some new rank images. The old ones were a bit big. These are not final yet, but I keep them up just because I like to brag that I am the Main Admin

Staff forum topics are appearing in the 'recent topics' scroll on the homepage for non-staff members. This lead to one very confused Schmeag (and a quite confused Yak - confusion is contagious. Especially when you reply to a PM about something completely unrelated instead of typing in 3 letters :\ )

The X-mas Pressie: Yes, there will be a pressie from Nagi Clause and Yak Clause to the community. We are a few who has been working on something for you, and hopefully you'll like it.

The image in my sig: Yes, the link screwed up. I did some changes on the server, and basically the path to that file was changed. Will change it back after posting this. The link still works though.

The recent topics scroller shall be investigated.

The scroller seems to only show what's in the open forums for this test account. Schmaeg, are you sure it was a hidden forum the topic was from? Did you try to click it? What happened?

It isn't in the Recent Topics Scroller it is in the Site Navigation box just above the scroller. When you click on it, it just redirects you to the main page.

When you click what link in the Site Navigation box? The X-mas Secret? I've put the link so that it takes you to the portal, you're not allowed to see it yet.

Staff forum topics are appearing in the 'recent topics' scroll on the homepage for non-staff members.

That sounds like the Recent Topics Scroller...

Now the scroller shows me a topics in the staff forum. I'll go see if our permissions are wasted, or what else might be the issue.

When I click the 'staff' button at the top of the page, it goes to an error screen.

Yep. That page is gone too. It's not a commonly used page, so I haven't bothered to re-install it yet. I might do that during/after the weekend.
