Major Errors

In a last attempt to reclaim control of our site, I had to delete everything. Yes, the woodelves.org server was 100% empty for a little while. I then re-installed the entire software of phpBB (and updated it, as Kul hadn't done that in ages either). Now, things are working, but not our modifications. I.e. the portal needs to be re-installed, as needs a lot of things. I'm currently working on it, and trying to remember everything Kul might have installed during the last 18 months (that's not very easy, might I add).

If you see any error messages, copy and paste them into this thread and I will deal with them to the best of my abilities.

The portal is now up (although not yet 100% restored). It seems as if all avatars have gone hay-wire. If your avatar does not work, try uploading it again.

I'll get cracking on the report post feature now.. Also the huge array of security fixes we had installed

Well sites working for me now (hope I didn't jinx it) the only thing I'm noticing right now is that the emoticons aren't there, just text describing them and you've got two Forest Guardian titles

EDIT: Apparently not only can I not see them but the emoticons don't work either (oh well no big deal)

I'm using the other skin TWS I think it's called and it's still not working. I'll switch and let you know.

EDIT: Well I'm on the regular one and it's still not working for me, all I see is the text (ex. smile, wink, dry etc.), I use Firefox as well.

It's weird it looks like the image is about to load but text replaces it.

Try clearing your cache and temp files.
They work for me in all three skins...

In IE, nothing seems to work. I will try to rebuild the Smily database from scratch, adding in the smilies I want on the site

I've heard that to, KidA, but never seen it myself. It's probably some cache file thing. Try clearing the cache, delete the temp file and flush the dns.

I got a message saying something along the lines of "please ensure that Install/Contrib files are deleted" or something, before getting logged out.

I did something I should not have, and the board went all jizzy again. Fixed the problem, and learnt myself a good lesson.

). I'd just like to add that the double title thing is noticeble over here too and I've emptied everything from my firefox cache and the one under control panel.

I was just saying that ihatecoldweather's Custom Title appears to be deviating from the norm; perhaps because it was applied after the forum stuff-up. If not, it could be a good point of reference.

When these double titles appear, do you see the "Noble" or "Highborn" buttons/icons above our avatars too? If not, I think that's the issue. When the button/icon is gone (which is way likely with the rebuild) it displayed an alternative text, i.e. the same text snippet as the custom title. That can also explain why the people with no button/icon only has it once.

Nope, instead of a Noble or Highborn title there is just another custom title...

All member ranks have been deleted. I will add them to the database soon, but some modifications need to be done first. Don't worry, the mods are still mods. The Rank Icon I'm wearing is a little something I found and I want to see how it looks.

I'm testing and fiddling. These looks like they will be the final ones, but some additional work will be done later tonight by Yak (as I lack some software he has).
