On the Portal page, on the left under Content, just below Board Index is SEARCH (well search actually). I just looked and used it. Maybe it is an Admin thing??

The fact that I don't use the portal page except when I first come onto the site might have something to do with how I didn't notice it, it used to be in the top bar. Oh well, I'm happy now.

At least there is a search function. However, as Mist says, most people aren't going to be spending time on the Portal page...

I'm sure Naggie will move it eventually, but it's easy to get to the page and back. Perhaps we need a topic to tell people where thing are now or how they have changed.

There should be a search link on the portal. I guess there should be one on the top-most menu as well. But currently I'm slightl too drunk to dare going into the file and code such stuff =) I'll get to it tomorrow if someone reminds me

It is there, it's just not where people were used to it being on the basic page 'toolbar'. Rest, relax, have a good weekend (put the coding tools down!)

Now there's a link to the search function right between the FAQ link and the link to the Memberlist in the main navigation menu under the banner.
The new portal has also been equipped with 16 links to other sites of good quality.
