New Admin on the Rise

Greetings to you all.

As you hopefully know, I have tried to resign from this site about a year ago. But it failed. I have still hung around (no slaaneshi pun intended) and I've been doing some work for the past year. I know perfectly well why, and one of the many reasons is that I didn't appoint someone to take my place as an administrator of Asrai.org. It isn't easy finding someone to whom you can trust your baby, and it has taken me a lot of will power to find one. But now I have!

As of yesterday, ArchMagosAlchemys started his admin training with me. He has been doing some tests to get to know the admin controls and will soon get the hang of how to operate the entire board. I chose AMA for a couple of reasons; mainly the ones where I failed.

So now I wish to congratulate ArchMagosAlchemys to his new position, and wish him the best of luck.

I will never truly disappear from the site, but I will try to do less and less and find good people who can do it for me. I hope to never be relieved as an admin of this site, but I want to be a shadow-admin who can be consulted when time requires it

I don't think AMA has touched your account, Misty (some other members have been unfortunate though ).

What happened a while ago was nothing worse of me changing the password to our database. Once I do the changes with our hosting company, it takes a little while before it is finalised. So in the gap in between, the site tries to connect to the database with an faulty password. That's what happened. Nothing to worry about.

I really believe you will make a great admin though, it feels a little sad that Sweden's loosing some of it's influence though
