You mean because of his magical cloak??
I see no reasons why fanatics wouldn't be released, whether he is charging or not, as long as he is within 8" of the goblins.

The cloak is the problem. Makes it so he can't be seen. So he argues the fanatics can't be release. I say the fanatics are released at 8inches regardless of his special ability.

Well, the cloak only works if deathmaster snitch is targeted. In the case of fanatics he isn't a target and thus the cloak has no effect. The fluff that he is invisible would of course make it impossible for the goblins to know he was near, but per the rules it has no effect in this case.
