Last Minute List Tweaks

Hey all I am competing in a non comped round robin tournaments.
I'm competing against 4 other armies: Dwarves, Ogres, Lizardmen, and Warriors of Chaos.
The list I am thinking about playing is:
Lords 580
Level 4 High, General, Steed, Talisman of Protection 285
Leel 4 Shadow, Steed, Obsidian Amulet, Dispel Scroll 295

Heroes 140
GC, BSB, Steed, Hail of Doom arrow 140

Core 610
16 GG Hagbane, Musician 250

10 GG Starfire, Musician 170

Special 569
8 Sisters of the Thorn, Musician, Standard of Discipline 233
6 Wild Riders shields 168

Total 2399

Tell me what you think as well as any strategy/ tricks you might use.
The battle is this upcoming Saturday so let me know before then.

Looks pretty solid.

I'd try to fit another Arcane Item in. Power Scroll on the Shadow mage could be good to force through Mindrazor or Withering perhaps. Might even be worth switching to Death because it's really good against three of those enemies, not so much vs WoC though. I'd be tempted to go all Trueflight on the archers, this really helps with Skinks. Throgg plus Chimaeras could be an issue but you could always stick Eternal Flame on the cavalry. Against high Toughness you have Withering.

Against Dwarfs I'd probably lurk just outside 30", then pick stuff off piecemeal. Lizardmen is a lot about killing skinks and establishing board control. WoC presumably he will run at you. The super-tough characters are a big issue, Withering and Waywatchers are your friends here, Mindrazor on Wild Riders can be very effective. Ogres you should shoot to death, even their shooty builds. Avoid the Gutstar, kill everything else and come back for the Star later if you can.

Alright thank you!
So if I change all the units to true flight that frees up some points,
you think I should go with a scroll of power on wizard?
Ill have to cut the obsidian amulet.

I felt like I was overcommiting to magic phase so I
Added 3 warhawk riders
2 extra ww
And changed the level 4 high to a level 2 with a scroll
I added a talisman to the lvl 4 and put a power stone on the
Level 4

Looks perfectly playable.

The main reason for going with 2 x lvl4 is they give you the pick of two Lores. The lvl2 is helpful but you get what you happen to roll. WE's don't have that many power choices (WW's, WR's, maybe Trueflight) and in particular no juicy combat characters, which is why double level 4 can be a good shout.

Oh, that makes more sense then.
Would it be worth it to play lore of death my first time in a tournament?
I don't want to lose to me misplaying the lore, could you give me some tips on what I'm looking to do with it?
With those minor changes I'm looking at:

TBH I'd probably stick with High and one other. Death and Shadow are both aggressive lores. High gives you utility spells and extra protection for your bunker. You know Shadow and it will help vs WoC. Death is a lot about Purple Sun vs low Initiative armies, although the character snipes and Soulblight/Doom and Darkness are good too. Having the caster mobile helps a lot with setting Purple Sun up. Be warned though that it may not be a lot of fun for the other guy, depends how competitive the games will be. Shadow is still strong.

I would try to keep some kind of Magic Resistance on the bunker. Eternal Flame doesn't work on Enchanted Arrows because they count as Magic Weapons. If you want Flaming shots I'd either go back to a ten of Starfire or put the banner on the Sisters because it does work on them as well as on Hail of Doom (which isn't a Magic Weapon).
