So i'm going to share my 1000 point list for pitched battles in Age of Sigmar. This is a pretty solid list, I've nearly tabled two different forces with it.

1x Glade Lord w/hail of doom arrow - 100 points
2x SpellWeavers - 200 points
20x Eternal Guard - 160 points
40x Glade Guard - 480 points
5x Wardancers - 60 points

This is a perfect 1000 point list. I place a unit of 10 EG in-front of a unit of 20 Glade Guard as my left flank, with a SpellWeaver between them. A unit of 10 EG in-front of a unit of 20 Glade Guard as my right flank, with the other spellweaver between them. The War-dancers take the middle of my force and they protect the Glade Lord.

Casting priority goes towards mystic shield for the EG, but the special Spellweaver spell 'Blessing of Life' should be used to replenish any Glade Guard or Eternal Guard who are slain. The Glade Lord's command ability is pretty awesome, so keep him in-between everyone so they can reroll 'ones to hit'. It works for shooting too!

What armies were you up against?

I have really been struggling with trying to get a cohesive list, but that is nice!

What artefacts and command traits have you been using?

Great success against Brets and Ogors, nearly tabled both!

Usually roll on special command abilities and relics. Neither have anything particularly great for woodelves i think.

I played a 1250 point list keeping the same parameters as a 1000 point list but with 1-5 leaders, 2+ Battle line, 0-3 artillery, 0-3 Behemoths. (50 points either way)

when we go up to 1500 points I'll add

10 Wild Wood Rangers
2 Hounds

Actually if I swap Orion out for a Forest Dragon, then I could put another unit of Waywatchers in.

I play the glade lord in the middle of the field, with the eternal guard in long lines so units cant get through to my archers, depending on if monsters are present i try to protect the Wildwood rangers with spellweaver and get them into some beast. I run two 10 units of glade guard so i can get two rounds of arcane bodkins.

I think my next purchase will be sisters of the thorn, then a centre piece model probably a lord on dragon.

any thoughts?

Nice examples of EG and GG combined with a Glade Lord.

Currently only Nomad Prince is allowed on Pitched Battles (as per latest version of AOS app, tournament org in Prague allowed only those allowed by App) and he is great. So I will prefer Nomad Prince and switch one spellweaver for BSB to get very cool 4+ward save on Glade Guard. I played 30 man GG on last tournament and nearly killed Karl Franz in round one. With BSB and Nomad Prince you do not need to be afraid of round2 charging armies.
I want to test Warhawk Riders or Eagles insread of waddancers for greater mobility and objective capture

I love the Dragon as you can modify initiative on battlefield which is imho the most important thing on AoS Battlefield. And at this moment except treekins, eagles and hounds all old WE elvish models are wanderers too

So my 1000pts list for tomorrow game against Glottkin will be
Nomad Prince
Glade Captain with BSB
Spellweaver

20X Glade Guard
20x Glade Guard
20x Eternal Guard
Warhawk Rider
Giant Eagle

There are mistakes in the App (Slaanesh Herald on a Seeker Chariot has the wrong wounds count). I would hope they allow the books at least :S But I'm nit picking.

I like the Nomad Prince as well. That list is similar to one I played vs Blight Kings recently and table my opponent.

Anyone have any Sylvaneth lists they've had success with?
