Thx for sharing! Was really impressed by the amount of work they put in the TK book, curious what they will do with our book. :)

Oh and there are new names for three groups of Elves as well as different names for their languages we are developing. In time you will be able to curse your opponents in elvish just like it the past only Dwarf players could.

Actually as I write this our linguistics team is setting up the root words for the DE language.

Cool!

Btw, they are still in beta testing right? Any news when the "official" sorta final edition arrives?

Is the fluff just slightly rewritten or fully unique?

All fluff for 9A is completely new. The primary inspirations for each army are the models, and the real world cultures that correspond to them. In some cases this is harder than other, but for the Sylvan Elves, it's wasn't a problem. Ultimately we've aimed for something that is distinct from any other similar games out there. The tone of the setting might be somewhat similar to other setting, alive or deceased, but the execution is entirely new. We understand that many players will want to continue using fluff they are used to, which is why the setting has been designed to be open open ended, which plenty of space for players to insert their own take on things. It's also all presented through the eyes of in-world individuals, so if there's something you don't like... well clearly that individual got it wrong. It must be Imperial propaganda slandering the wonderful woods in which we live. ;)

Hee there!

A few days ago a sneak peek image has been posted for the upcoming 'official' army book for Wood Elves/Sylvan Elves:

Looks promising!
