AUS WELF BUYERS
Hi, I'm sure this topic title may have seemed misleading, but it's all I have, so deal with it.
After looking at the price difference between GW US and GW AU I've begun to realise how short the straw I have drawn truly is and was wondering if ANYBODY knew a place where I could buy WElves cheaper than I can in GW stores (AUSLAND ofc). Also, if somebody has a website where they sell Black Library novels cheaper (or armybooks) that would also be lovely.
If this isn't legal somebody please tell me (but I am almost 100% sure that independent stockists can sell for any price, so yeah)
Love you all
Ash

Re: AUS WELF BUYERS
Milsims usually has 15% off http://www.milsims.com.au/, most GW stock, my local hobby store has it for 20% off, it all depends on your location. There where a few overseas places that were good, but i haven't used them in a while so i wont recommend them.
Perception, Is what tells me my hobby should fit into one room.

The http://thecombatcompany.com do a good discount and shipping is free if you spend over 100 bucks, I have used them on several occasions, only problem is most online independents tend to stock a limited selection so you may still have to buy characters and the likes from GW. There are other dodgier options but I won't go into them on the open forum

fair enough, if you wouldn't mind I could PM you my email for a more *ahem* "broad" list.
And I only really would be using the cheaper options for larger packs (for instance Glade Riders who cost 20 dollars more in aus). I can throw GW a bone every now and then.

Black Cultist in Australia also have some stuff often a bit cheaper than Milsims.
I go apple store digital editions for the books, but only after buying itunes gift cards in bulk whenever they are at one of their 20% off sales (Coles had it on all this week for instance) which technically means I'm buying the digital editions for 20% off which is naught to be sneezed at.
In short though, Australian prices make no sense and are simply gouging even more so than GW does elsewhere, but they're not the only ones. Apple products are doubled in price as well. My friends and I refer it as "the colony tax".
At the end of the day the only real way to make a decent saving is to find an independent stockist in the US who *isn't* afraid of breaking GW's rules or the wonderful world of Ebay.

I wouldn't mind knowing the names of some of these independent US stockists
And yeah, Aus video games as well, some TVs, movies and even a bunch of books.
I will look at grabbing me some 20% off ITunes cards in the future, but for now I might have to grab a physical rule book unless they happen to go on sale before next Friday (games nights)

Re: AUS WELF BUYERS
Try your local coles. I believe they are on special all this week. Could be wrong.
As for the independant stockists in the US, I had a guy, but apparently GW caught on to him and he was refused stock. Or he used that as an excuse when he short changed me a couple of models.

Re: AUS WELF BUYERS
and it's not like I could march down to the store to complain. So it has it's drawbacks. I've since stuck to discounted Australian distributors as a safer bet, and of course Ebay, because they have certain guaruntees that must be upheld.

These guys are legit, no preorders for Wood Elves, but still a massive discount for aus buyers (especially if bought in bulk).
