Damn... Well... I guess I'll be going with the ancients then? idk. It would make some sense I guess. I still hope not...

At this point I'm just gonna ignore rumors because my sanity can't take it

The paintjob really helps! They are gorgeous.

Edit: what's weird, is that it is a GW link... Where did you get it on the website?

Looks like the Sisters of the Thorn are armed with javelins and magic staffs. This is going to be really interesting.

Very cool wild wood ranger models.

Fairly cool stag riders (but green elves?). I can't help but laugh though... the stag riders don't really look very intimidating... they don't look much tougher than Rudolf. I think everyone was expecting something more... monstrous infantry-ish. Riders themselves, I really like.

Okay, the deer look much, much better with the ladies riding them... with the guys riding them... not so much. Definitely like the models, but I think I'll put the wild riders on regular horses.

Rofl I feel the same. So the sisters of the thorn are real. Let's see what they can do.

All the models look fantastic! I don't know if it's the angle but the bases seem bigger than a regular cav base but smaller than a monstrous cav? Probaly Regular, maybe (hopefully) they'll retain fast cav then?

This will be an expensive first few weeks of May!

*Calms himself* Ok... I'll just start with the AB and take it from there..
*Buys everything*

On a side note, someone mentioned earlier that this will be the last batch of releases for WE, i.e. we won't be seeing new models anytime soon.
Do you guys think this as well? Or will they maybe have a third week of releases?

I realize I might sound very spoiled or ungrateful, which is not the case, just curious.

EDIT: Ok, just noticed after looking at the command image. Definitely regular cav bases

Am I the only one who is not so enthusiastic?
The Wildwood Rangers look great, I agree. So do the Eternal Guard, though imo the old models are on-par (apart from being metal, of course) - both have their strengths and their weaknesses. I liked the old helmets better, but the new shields and armour are quite nice. I'm sad about the loss of the saerath though, that was a nice unique weapon, but nevermind...
But the Wild Riders? Gosh, those Helmets are just silly. The old cloaks were a bit nicer, that fur around the neck made them more savage-like and I REALLY prefer the old spears with the vines around them.
About the stags- not sure. They do have nice unique poses, but they do seem a bit like Rudolph. Might have to get used to that. The horses though had more the flair of a savage elite cavalry.
Meh. Guess I'll have to see them in front of my very eyes to decide.

The sisters look quite nice though. The javelins and staves will be interesting to play, if they get fast cavalry. Don't have Javelins the strength of the user? Might be interesting with a strength buff or two, I will definitely play test them.

The one thing that disturbs me though is that this indicates that the german rumors might be true.

I just noticed... those are double-ended spears the spearmen are holding. Could it be 2 attacks with shield? Looks like they'll retain spear-staves.

I really dislike the new style. Of everything, basically.
Especially the Eternal Guard.

Wild riders will be okay if they get alternative heads.

My jaw dropped when I saw the stag riders for real.

Holy crap, the entire new WE line is just so darn beautiful. I honestly can't understand how anyone would like the old WR line after seeing these...they're so dynamic and, well, WILD!!! The one thing keeping me from buying wild riders before is that they looked like so much ass, and were metal too.

I really like everything put out so far, the "bounding" poses of the stags are really cool. I hope at least one if not both of the new cav are "fast cav". :sexy:
