posting full images

Post by Archeos »

Hello!
I apologize in advance if the answer to my post is already on the site, but I was not able to find it....

How can I post a "full page" images?

If I follow the procedure for the attachment, and then insert in the text, only the thumbnails will appear and nott the full image like in this post... http://asrai.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=28599

Thnks for the aid!!

The site works exactly as it should in that regard. Not every user is on high-speed internet, which means loading images of 4000x2800 pixels will crash their computer. Having a thumbnail makes it far easier to load, and people who wants to see can easily load the desired image. Also, having thumbnails does not ruin the site design and layout.

Thanks for the reply.
I do not think in any way that the thumbnails ruin the site design or layout...and I know the problems associated with image upload.
My question was just a curiosity, seeing other post (like the one in the link) and i was simply wondering how was the procedure.
I have nothing against the thumbnails system the site is fine just as it is
I apologize if my question was inappropriate and if someone was offended.

I prefer thumbnails as well. Since I'm usually checking the site from my phone, connection speed isn't the best. To upload an image in full size, you need to use the img-tags and hotlink the image from another source.
