Well when I post from my work IPad, I get a spambot block, but posting from the personal IPad and family computer is fine. Small price to pay! Thanks!

It checks against your IP. So your company is currently blacklisted in some of the mahor spambot blacklists in the world. That's interesting.

I know this may have been suggested a hundred times before but I've read through this thread and haven't seen it, I know most forums use a system where the first post of any new user must be approved by a moderator before they can post anything, it doesn't deter many people and can stop bots from ever posting on the forum, I hope this helps.

I'm sure Naggie has thought of that and made a conscious decision to not go that route.
But you never know and it is a good suggestion, maybe he isn't as omnipotent as he would have US believe :paranoid:

Then you can look on another warhammer forum, trust me these things have been a problem for more than just us.
I know lustria online had a bad wave, and I'm sure they are the only other victimof this much hated foe.

All this prejudice against kitchen cabinets in making me feel uncomfortable.

I mean, what did kitchen cabinets ever do to you? When was anyone ever assaulted by a kitchen cabinet?

OK guys and gals, after the latest splurge of bots, can I just reiterate the following statement please?

If you see one of these threads please just hit the report button, and leave it alone. I appreciate that they might annoy people, and that it is an inconvenience none of us want but, as the poor sod who has to go around and delete most of these 'bots, it doesn't make my job any easier when people insist on posting replies in all these spam topics.

We're doing what we can to stop these things for good, but in the meantime, we need people to grin and bear it. So please don't reply to the topics! Just hit the report button

For the most part, I know you guys are really reliable and on the ball with these guys, but every so often someone can't resist responding. Unfortunately, all that does is make my job harder! So try not to reply ;)
