Name colours changed?
What's with the blue and violet names? Are the colours of the names really changed or is it just my eyes or computer? The blue hurts my eyes and I can't see the purple because of the dark green background

Yeah, the purple is completely un-readable by me as well. The blue ain't so bad, but on such a dark background color, a light cyan would be more readable I think.

I agree Sphynx. I preferred the previous set of colours as they were far more readable on as dark background...

Re: Name colours changed?
The good thing is that there is nothing wrong with my computer, the colours are really just changed. I noticed today that there is a contrast menu in my screen and deciced to test it. Ofc I didn't look how it was before I changed it and just left it into some position. Then I logged here and zömg ! the colours had changed! I though it was because of my doings in the menu and tried to fix it with the contrast/brightness adjust, but for some reason it didn't work
Please change them back, or at least to some colour that is not straight from the basic colour palette.

I'm colourblind. I can see the new ones better than the old ones, not that I really noticed.

I dunno, I like the new registered user color and think that the LEAF Writer's color is the hardest to read, not that that matters as I can recognize all of them by the length and shape of the name; not to mention their avatar anyways!

How do you paint miniatures? Monochromatic? Or can you see any colors? A friend of mine can't distinguish between red and green, having quite a time trying to pick strawberries from the summer field.ArchMagosAlchemys wrote:I'm colourblind. I'm colourblind too (and it's mostly just red-green-never mono-chromatic only) and I can read LEAF writers almost as well as before if not a little better but normal members are completely blurred though I can still make out the letters

Re: Name colours changed?
I spent an hour changing the colours back and forth ysterday. I'm trying to get colours that are readable on both this dark green skin and the future bright pink Slaaneshi skin. It's quite impossible, I must say. I am still working on it, don't worry. These colours are not final.

Is it possible to get them to change depending on your skin?

Re: Name colours changed?
I am considering moving normal users to dark blue, as it has a good contrast aganist both skins. Also, leaf Writers may get a completely new colour - probably a nuance of that dark blue. I'll see what I will do..

Re: Name colours changed?
Maybe a dumb idea, but since you seem to be working with CSS, you might consider giving non-basic users a background-color: black; or something. Then the color: shouldn't matter much.

Re: Name colours changed?
It's different shades of blue
Still, the Council of Elders colour is slightly too bright for good readability on the dark green skin.
And in case you want to know, the Slaaneshi skin might be dropped. I have bigger and more impressive plans now Why go small when you can aim for the stars, eh?
