My asrai conversions might not be secret, but my asur should be... So I hereby enter my Loremaster conversion to the contest.
The conversion is made up of the Isle of Blood mage, Isle of Blood swordmaster champion sword, the anointed of asuryan head from the Phoenix set and of course the book (of Hoeth) from the plastic mage set. The diamond effect on the sword is from the 40k harlequin solitaire.

Here is the picture for my conversion if it's still possible to enter the challenge. It's not Wood Elves but I didn't start any conversion yet with them.
It's a Skaven Warlitter for my Warlord. Made with 2 Stormvermins, some Skaven shields, wheels from the Warplighting Cannon and some wood. And, bonus, my warlord on it:
My dryad unit filler is an old metal treeman spruced up with some new parts. It counts as 6 dryads, to fill out my 28 man dryad unit

Here is my second entry. It counts as 4 eternal guard, and fills out the 28 man unit. I was inspired to make this guy based on one of the old characters, my fave, Skaw the Falconer. While my model doesnt carry over all of his usual traits, I like to consider it a cool modern update

NonnoSte wrote:Hi Frogboy,
I hope not to be too late, but here you are two pics of the converted Pegasus Master I modeled.
The Pegasus and the Rider are both from Gamezone miniatures (Rider from Cold One champion), but I cut out the arms of the model to add the High Elf Prince lance and shield, as well as fitting the Asur cloak on the back of the Master's armour.
Best Regards

My entry: Stag rider
Here's shortly what I did:
Stag:
- cut in half, cut head off
- made it 2mm gap between halves, filled them with plasticard and miliput; same with head
- sculpted fur and made it bulkier with miliput, greenstuff and mix of those two
- reins made out of miliput first, and second out of greenstuff
- made his saddle more royal like out of miliput
Rider:
- made crown out of miliput; added two braids out of greenstuff
- made carvings on breastplate with greenstuff to be more like roman breastplate
- repositioned and sculpted a bit his arms
Base:
- this is microartstudio calvary base; added one more base cut in half and repositioned to fit in to make 5×5 base
- made out of miliput standing for stag (two little stumps)
Hope it represents Dolfar Longstride ok, was trying to get him to look like he was using one of his skills, diving catch, kick of return or pass block.
Its been too long since we burned a heretic, witch hunt anyone !??

I was hoping you would say that. I just started to paint my entry yesterday evening and the model just keeps getting better by each layer of paint. I bet everybody would like to see all the great models in the competition fully painted.
Of course the competition cant be just for these models as it wouldn't be fair to everybody that did extra work to get their entries painted already.
Looks like the poll is closed now, so at the risk of putting the shark before the diver: Congratulations Yuri. Great job.
The Warrior of the Silver Flame

If you refuse to capitalize on your strengths or make the most of your opponent's weaknesses, you are begging to lose.
There is no combat without movement.
Thank you all for your votes. To be honest, I don't know what to say else. I wrote several sentences in several attempts to say something, but don't really know what to say. I'm happy I won this one because I wasn't active on this forum until recent and this was somekind of comeback and some kind of last kick before death of warhammer as we know it (hope that's not true). Only thing I can do is to promise I will paint this guy up and show it to you guys.
Congratulations Yuri! The model looks really nice and it looks like there is almost more of your sculpts than original model. It looks like you spent more hours on your conversion than rest of us combined, so it is only fair for you to win this. Owning that kind of totally unique model is priceless. Hope to see it painted.
I painted it about a week ago, but there are still some finishing touches to be made. Base isn't complete and the matt varnish I have on it is more semi-glossy. I will have to buy a bottle of anti shine. After that I will post the pictures for you to see for sure.
