The frost has thawed and life is beginning to come back to the forest, Winter my friends is over for another year.
"As landscapes burn and new allegiances are formed, suspicion and betrayal are rife, flee to your banners if they're still alive but be careful, they may not be as loyal as they once we're"
This Painting Challenge we have another choice for you, you may enter one of the following three;
i) End times Refugees. A unit or model to be part of a host of the eternity king.
ii) A Standard Bearer for your troops to rally too (either BSB/unit standard).
iii) Terrain inspired from the end times. A garden of morr, a forest, an arcane fulcrum, witchfate etc...
Please vote for your favourite THREE Challengers...
Good luck everyone and thanks for taking part

Here is my entry for the painting challenge!

I have opted for a BSB on foot.
Kitbashed from glade riders, glade guard and wild riders/ Sisters.
The Banner is inspired on the Triskel to emphasize the joining of the elven races, under the branches of Athel Loren.
As for colour choices: this guy will function in my army, so i stuck to my own scheme.

Battle Standard Bearer on a Griff... er ... I mean Great Eagle

BSB. The banner says "Cao Mu Jie Bing" in Chinese. It is a Chinese saying and means "Every Bush and Tree Looks like an Enemy". It is from a story where a smaller army beats a much larger one by surrounding it, the general of the larger army starts to mistake the terrain for enemy soldiers and his army lose due to lack of morale!
Baardah
Here is my entry. The beast masters and their charges are the first refugees that I include in my army.
Nice work everyone! At first glance it was a difficult theme but once you let the idea set in, it was a blast to make. I like everyones ideas and work, great stuff
This is the first time I joined a painting contest. I was painting my BSB anyhow, so I thought "why not join?". It was really fun, especially taking the pictures trying to get them just right. I don't fancy myself a great artist, I am mainly in the game for the playing part. But I think everyone will agree, a painted army simply gives so much spirit and beauty to the game compared to an unpainted one.
Oh and by the way, vote for me and I will bake you a cake!
BeaverBeliever is still firmly in the lead with a 11 vote lead, looks like he's running away with this one but I'm sure there are more visitors to this site who haven't voted yet

Congrats buddy, you will be added to the hall of fame, don't forget to brag lots that you are the winner, for now ...
Thanks to everyone else who entered, it really wouldn't have been a contest without you guys. Don't forget to look out for the next one, but for now just enjoy the show...

A well deserved win. Having tried to paint the same model for the same purpose, mine didn't come out half as good.
The Warrior of the Silver Flame
I hold the Glaive of Law against the Earth.
If you refuse to capitalize on your strengths or make the most of your opponent's weaknesses, you are begging to lose.
There is no combat without movement.
Thanks for the votes, everyone! I really enjoyed everyone else's work.

No worries I try for the more "realistic" (is that possible with an elf on a griffon?) color tones to add some grit, but I know that's not for everyone.
