I wrote a poem for this historical moment in time

Let the best elf win,
All submissions are in.

Let the best elf win,
Let the voting begin!

Nice poem. It is a healthy competition this past month.

Yes, I have already been contacted by a couple of major publishers about selling the rights for it. I think they wanted lady Gaga to sing it. But I'm holding it for a little bit longer, it's pure gold... :ninja:

Wow, really high standard of entries, that was a tough choice. Love the characterful treeman ancient there squidboy.

Amazing work from domster but what is the entry? Is that a forest dragon conversion? If so it is awesome  What is the other one a treeman? Again awesome work but isn't that 2 entries, which are we voting for?

Would love to see some more pics of both, especially the dragon.

Really great stuff in there and I'm pleased with myself for actually getting a model finished for entry.

Domster's stuff is not only spectacularly painted, but wicked converting too, totally awesome stuff, one entry would have been enough for my vote though.

Apologies to robtion, I forgot we had two votes, you would have got my second.

Is there a chance that other pictures can be posted showing more of the model than just the front? Seems only fair.

Most the entries sent pictures larger than 900 pixels (size limit). I spent a fair bit of my morning downloading and uploading smaller images to my personal flickr account to make sure I could get this up in time, all while dealing with a killer headache and exhaustion from being at a con all weekend. That was something I wasn't aware of, that I have specified for the next painting challenge.

If anyone wants more photos of their entry just PM me with a link to smaller images and I will update them.

Hi all,
Apologies for sticking two models in one entry, but I was painting them both as a pair, so I thought they could go in together :) . If anyone's interested they are converted from the warpfire dragon, and the exalted greater daemon of slaanesh from forgeworld. I had the dragon sitting around for ages before inspiration struck when I decided to start a woodelf army and I started greenstuffing the poor beggar like mad. I'll get more pics of them both and upload them to my blog asap if folks want to see more. Oh, and thanks for the nice compliments too!
cheers
