Characters, High Liche Priest with the archers and the Tomb Prince will lead the Tomba Guard.

Stalkers are entombed by the sand, so they are not placed yet. You have finished first, so you have a +1 for the first turn roll.

I rolled a 6 :D and another 6 for a reroll if needed.

All the units advance a little, horse archers and chariots move enough to make some shooting.

Magic winds sees a roll of 1+5, no channeling for me and the Casket generates 3 extra dice.

First Spell, Ptra's punish on the Chariots2, 9+ with 3 dice
3d6 +4 >= 9
1 + 3 + 2 + 4 = 10 ... success
Wow, low rolls but cast successfully :)

thomas let it pass, and then I cast Desert Winds with 2 dice (plus Hierotitan bonus, I forgot it before), but this time the elves dispell it with 4 dice.

The third spell is Neru's Protection on the Tomb Guard with 2 dice, and he let it pass.

Finally I cast the Casket spell on the GG2 unit, 5+ with my remaining 2 dice, but he dispells it with his single dice.

Arrow shooting sees both eagles reduced to a single wound, two archers and a wardancer dead.

Catapults manage to hit the Treekin and kill one of them.

Turn 1 for the elves!

Chariots on the left charge the Wild Rider, and the Chariots on the right charge the Eagle that was in front of them and holds to sacrifice.

The infantry blocks advance slowly and the Horse Archers move to get some shooting on the skirmishers.

Magic, 3+5 dice and again 3 from the Casket. Smiting is scrolled, Desert Winds and Casket dispelled, and finally the Hierotitan casts a flaming gaze onto the GG1 that kills 2 but they pass the Ld test thanks to their General.

Shooting kills an eagle, two archers and a wardancer. One catapult miss and the other fail to wound even the Str9 hit.

Combat sees how the Chariots kill the Eagle and reform. The Wild Riders are also destroyed after 5 wounds due to impact hits, and making only a wound in return, they failed a Ld4 and are pursued and killed by the Chariots.

Magic, nothing special , failure on first spell. the end.
Shooting,
Glade guards shoot at each Skeleton warriors regiment, killing 5 in one and 8 in the other.
Glade guards also kills 1 chariot.

CC:
Wardancers kills 1 chariot and leave the unit with 1 more wound.
He attacks back with skeletons and horses, wounding 3 wardancers, saving 2, 1 dead.
I win combat by two so that is one more chariot crumbled:)

Tomb Kings don't charge this turn, they position again and the unengaged Chariots make a swift reform and advance close to the Ethernal Guard.

Magic sees a Smiting cast on the engaged Chariots, resurrecting a fallen one, and after that an IF protection on the same chariots, but the explosion makes the High Priest lose a level and the Protection spell, and finishing the magic phase.

Shooting was impressive unnefective, only killing an archer, an ethernal guard and the catapults killing one of my own chariots.

In combat, the Wardancers kill a chariot with a single wound remaining, and a lot of attacks from the skeletons sees 5 wounds but the ward save dance saves 3 of the, dying only two of them, and pass the break test.
