Well the other games that have been conceded have been 1500-0 scores, so yours will be too. It makes no real difference because you still go through in 2nd but just to be fair...

We're just waiting on AMA to finish his two games now.

That's what I assumed despite what Caledrith stated... it only seems fair. Thanks!

Don't you guys think it's time to end the group games that are left (call them draws or whatever)? This has pretty much died (probably a bit because of AMA's health), but I think it's good enough to at least try to resurrect it.

The only games we have left are those involving AMA, so that goes a long way to explaining things...

At this point, Lathrain and Liesmith would go through from Pool 4. The remaining two games won't change anything if we score them both equal (i.e. AMA concedes)

Right now might not be the best time to restart the tournament though, what with Christmas just around the corner. Still, it would be worth finding out if people are still interested.

Well, Christmas is over and AMA is properly back, how shall we continue this?

I'll concede.

It was my intention that the top two from each pool continue on. (if there are still that many interested :D ) with the player with the top VP score playing the 'second' player from some other pool with the lowest VP total.

If that's too complicated and/or there are too few people, I'll listen to any reasonable suggestions.

That doesn't sound complicated, so long as you can explain the proceedings. Leaving us to sort it out for ourselves would inevitably result in chaos :smirk:

I would suggest PMing those players who made it through to the second round, to see whether they're interested in picking up where we left off.

I'll send a PM round to everyone who is supposed to be in the second round to get an idea of who is interested in continuing.

I sent a PM to everyone. So far I've had four replies. Steinerp says he's not bothered but will continue if everyone else is. TheMiz is not interested in continuing at all, and Unicorn is unable to continue due to RL stuff. TGA, obviously you know you're own answer :smirk: t12 has already said he's in. I'm in.

Still waiting on replies from Liesmith and Lathrain, but they've not been around for a while.

Thanks for volunteering Shio, and good to have you back :)

I think we're still waiting to see if this is going to go ahead at all. AMA is in charge, so it's his decision whether to continue or not...

To be completely honest, I don't think I have the time (or will in the forseeabel future) to finish this.

OK, thanks steinerp.

On the plus side, Lathrain says he's still interested and will make time for WFO if we get round to picking this up again.

I have my major 'mid-year' progress reports done, at last. This year I have to do 'comments' a small essay and evaluation, for my students. It takes a long time.
