I'd need to see the whole model to really pass judgement, but it looks pretty good.

I don't think it's giving off much of a swampy feel atm, though it would be a good scheme for an army of [insert name of elven rain god] worshipers. Not too shabby. :)

I'd like to see the end result.

well swampy, rain god, same difference. My brother just said swampy feel, and i couldnt find a better way to describe what i wanted, but i wanted like puddles of water on my bases and the such, so swampy came to my brotehrs mind, and i just went with it.
im gonna try and make it so that when my glade gaurd rank up there will be a stream going through the regiment,

Gotta scan them all in for us when you're done ;) :P

Nice work, very different from the ones I've seen so far, but I have to say it's one of the best schemes I've seen.

its good to see the first real painted wood elf. even if it is only half one.

I like it so far there is no obviouse clashes and not to many colours. The swamp theme is a good idea, since every one else is going for seasons

Nice collour combo.
Never seen some one paint legs/underbody and upperbody/head seperately.
If you glue 2 parts of the body then you see no glueing part?

Once you've got the base done it should look very swampy/marshy. That root thing will help a lot with that effect, a twisted tree coming out of the mudbanks.

To be honist I can't see anything wrong with it. I don't see it standing out amoung other armies but it is clean and well painted and also well thought out. I like the way that the colours don't clash.

yay people like it they like it ...

i thought it would be a good idea, to do the legs seperately from everything else. So i glued everyother part of the model to the body, and started painting the legs. Then i realised it would just be easier to paint the whole thing and paint the cloak seperately, but it was too late by then. Im still working on the body, alls dont except for the skin and eyes, but dear jesus wagons those eyes are tiny, like very tiny!!!!!!!

ill see if i can finish it today

Nice one (doing the legs seperate).

Lots of people disagreed with me on the Waystone but you will soon see that it is a lot easier than painting your models in one piece.

because when you glue the cloak on to the body, it will be extremely hard to paint the back side of the legs and the inside of the cloaks. So you can either paint cloaks seperately or paint the legs seperatly, really your choice

Fair enough, i see your point now. I think it'd be simpler still to do cloaks seperately though.
