Wow! Playonwords your skills are amazing. I can't believe I haven't seen this thread before.
I love your colors and attention to detail. Every model looks elegantly great.
My only question is why did you substitute the Dragon highborn that comes with the Forest dragon?
The model you chose looks great, just asking?
Great freehand work as well on the BSB banner. Love it.

No amount of planning can ever replace dumb luck.

Thanks for the kind words Allendor. Your own stuff looks brilliant also (love the new reaper mini conversion in your blog:http://www.asrai.org/viewtopic.php?f=2& ... 09#p321209 )
I really didn't like the original dragon rider model. For a highborn with the prestige and rank to ride a dragon, the guy looks very dull. Plus the big feather coming out of his helmet looked ridiculous. My very small conversion is just the old riders' legs and a glade guard torso and head, and with the added ornate cloak that you can get from the Glade guard sprues.

A new mage on steed - I decided I really need one of these. High magic and death work so well with wood elves, but you need to be mobile to get up close, hence a mounted mage. Now to paint some sisters for a bunker.

Amazing stuff. They look like they are returning from a Feast! I wished I did some bright summery colours for mine instead of dark autumn.

Very nice. I really like your color scheme. The red spot color really makes it stand out from the "common" greens and Browns. And your highlights are very clean and makes a great effect.
Great job

Yes, the pics from the first page have been lost. I can retake what i think was there, but since some models have been repainted (or finished from a half-done state), the comments wont exactly match the images. Still pics are better than no pics.

Very nice army. And a very nicely composed and arranged shot of same.
So it's no longer the BRB, now it's the DERB. (Digital Edition Rule Book) I am all in for 9th Age.
