I think its cos the posting date was a while ago my friend. And a lot of companies who used to be around have closed up shop, Or gone into administration.
A suggestion would be to google image search the name of the mini and hopefully you can find it through another supplier. Hope that helps :)

She doesn't have a bow, but I really love this model: http://studiomcvey.highwire.com/product/smm23-al-raavia Maybe it would be possible to glue one to her back?

I suggest adding Elf Mage from Mordheim to male spellweaver/spellsinger list. Always liked the mini:

Other things:

female spellsinger
female spellsinger 2
female highborn on foot

Wow, there are some awesome models.

I love the "Drys, Elven Dryad" model. It's kind of how I envision dryads before they burst into their war form.
There are loads of awesome models. Thanks! I like the eagles better than the GW ones too. They are dynamic.

Anyone happen to find a good mounted female spellweaver? I just want mounted on horse or unicorn, not an eagle though if the price is good enough it could be converted to an elven steed. The only mounted one I've seen from GW is that really old ugly one, and I wanted something closer to our current look.
Check out my set of rules updated to 8th ed! I need more play-testing, so be sure and let me know what you guys thing!

Are there any models that anyone wuld recommend to use instead of Warhawks. Apparently the LotR/Hobbit Eagles make awesome Eagles but I'm not sure whether they would be too big for hawks?

Ideas anyone?

I would say they're definitely too big for Warhawks. They're massive (or rather, their wingspan is). They're quite a bit bigger than normal WE Eagles, let alone Warhawks.

To be honest, I've never seen any alternative Warhawks. The Gamezone Eagles with Riders might do OK, but I don't know exactly how big they are either.

I'll wait for them to be released in "not-metal". Haha!

We will get all new models in May so I would suggest waiting. I imagine I'll be rebuying 50% of my army.

For those looking for a replacement for the stag on steroids, I can recommend Ax Faction's "Feral Lass" 's mount. It is excellent!

Hi,
Does anyone know a good alternative for the Sisters of Twilight? I am alright for the mounts but its just I am not too fussed on the current models and wondered if there are alternatives.

Yes I would like to know as well.
I found a couple of Reaper mini's that might be a good fit but I just started looking.
Not sure what is out there otherwise.

I thought of converting the lotr Mirkwood Rangers or Tauriel however they are a bit too small and don't look out of proportion on the mounts. Which Reaper Minis were you looking at?

I think the best bet would be kit bashing parts from the plastic sets, especially now we have the Sisters of the Thorn to play with.

Yeah that might be a good idea to be fair, i especially like the sisters of thorn heads which may prove fun to do a conversion with, thanks for the idea.

Mirkwood Rangers could also be nice for Deepwood Scouts, that's what I'm planning to use mine as.

Here are some more suggestions:

BSB on foot (just have to add an extension to his staff) - Thranduil King of Mirkwood, GW LOTR
Waystalker - Jade Guard, Avatars of War
Spellweaver/singer on foot - Elf Mage, Scibor
Spellweaver/singer on foot, or Branchwraith (could work equally well for either, depending on the paintjob) - Wood Elf Mage, Scibor
Shadowdancer - Female Elven Dual Wield Rogue

And here's a clutch of various ranger-archetype models for Waystalkers. I feel the Avatars of War model is a cut above the rest, but these could be interesting.
Female Rogue with Bow, Miniaturenland
Male Ranger with Bow, Miniaturenland
Female Ranger with Bow, Miniaturenland
Female Ranger, Miniaturenland
Male Thief / Ranger with Bow, Miniaturenland
Male Ranger with Bow, Miniaturenland

Any good monstrous cav models to be used as unicorn? I wouldn't mind alternative creatures (I considered the pretton from Warhammer Forge).

Edit: Decided on Morvahna the Dawnshadow from Privateer Press

These are 32 mm though. How would they look next to a GW model?
