Nice! I have that exact same model on my desk. Unfinished for quite some time, but it's on the to-do list.

Found a command group of the old EG models on eBay, so I painted these up to complete my old eternal guard unit.

Re: The wardens of the Wild Heath. update sept 20th!
So i had to let you know i stole your mounted mage idea...with the horns on the horse...it looks so sweet. did you use any greenstuff or did you just glue them? I am going to give my liquid greenstuff a try. Just to give it some strength but man It looks good. The one thing I'm going to try is giving my rider a long cloak or a dress not sure yet i have plenty of putty to play with.

Re: The wardens of the Wild Heath. update sept 20th!
@hutobega: i didnt use greenstuff on the horses headdress. Only careful cutting to get flat on flat connections and glue.
A little tip on GS for cloaks and other cloth: draw it out thin, then let it set for so long that it's still flexible, but not sticky anymore so you can shape it without it folding into itself...

The wardens of the Wild Heath. update sept 20th!
A little conversion I did based on a Dark Eldar blister...dunno what the original model was called. Not Shure what to use her as..maybe just a glade captain for an infantry unit

Original modelis a wych if I remember correctly. She looks very in keeping with the hood and the fantasy weapons and will look great on the table. You could almost run her as a wardancer hero.

Yeah ive been toying with the idea of using her as a shadow dancer.
She could work as a WWR champion too I guess.
This was the original model. A succubus

Here they are all together. I couldn't fit them in my lightbox together so the picture isn't so good

The wardens of the Wild Heath. update sept 20th!
Thank you for kind words Cosmos.
The color scheme is inspired by my original summer night theme. Ive simply painted em to fit with the rest of my army. I changed up some colors, like orkhide shade is subbed with incubi darkness and the old fenrisian grey I now paint with thunder hawk blue, but it still fits.
I decided right away when I first began my wood elves that I wanted a dark scheme, but I didn't want all drab Browns or all black. So I went for a night theme and went on to think that under a moonlit night sky almost all colors get a blue hue. So the colors I previously painted white got blue, and I made shure that my greens where blue-greens and such. I only kept the Browns brown as the red in brown colors tend to neutralize the bluepart of the spectrum.

Are those the skycutter rocs? There's a thread somewhere where people are talking about size comparisons between Hobbit eagles, the rocs, and the normal WE warhawk riders. Anyway, they look pretty awesome, and seem proportional to the riders. Awesome conversions.

I just bought two extra skycutter kits. So now I have two boats surplus. I'm thinking of building a dwarves airship or something. Maybe a santas sleigh. Just need some steeds of Kurnous.
Oh oh....orion riding an ethereal sleigh pulled by ethereal stags....im so gonna make that!
