Bloody Shores: Daemons Unbound

Post by godswearhats »

You can read / watch the previous battle report and the accompanying storyline if you are interested. This is a video battle report, complete with commentary by yours truly. It's 9 minutes long, time lapse so you get to see the whole battle, and includes an overview of both army lists. It's a 2,500 point battle vs Daemons of Chaos (Nurgle and Khorne).

Watch it on YouTube.

Feedback welcomed!

Nice video GWH, a big improvement from the first one, could do with louder sound as I couldn't hear without headphones using my mobile device. I liked the cards showing which phase of the game and which turn it was and the transitions and fonts used were perfect.

How do you do the time lapse on the phone ?

Combination of wide angle lens and the Lapse It app. Thanks for watching! I have a new headset coming to me so hopefully that will cure the sound problem.

Ok I'll have a look for that App. Thanks :D

It's a really cool idea, I'm not sure if it's yours but its the first time I've seen a time lapse warhammer game like this from a birds eye view.

Nice

Nice video. I was able to follow the narrative. Man, 9 minute 6 turn games are hypnotic!

I saw the video but i totally forgot to post here. Nice job, really enjoyed to watch it.

I sometimes borrow a friends demons army, and in the first battle i did the same mistake as your opponent. Greater demons and even demon princes are NOT very durable, i lost my demon prince of slaanesh to skink poison on the first or second turn. I am sure he won't repeat that mistake, i sure didn't.

Not having models for his plague drones are probably the reason you guys keep forgetting them.

Seems like a good game though, ad thanks for the report.

He has the models, they are just very intricate and he's quite OCD about prepping and sticking them :-) The good news is that we have a tournament in a month that requires no proxies, so he'll definitely have things done by then.
