hello. may i have some small clarification on calingor's stave and ranu's heartstone please.
calingor's stave: does "(and attempt to cast)" mean that even if the mage fails to cast the spell, she can still try to cast it again? (and again and again!)
ranu's heartstone: with the amendments removing the last sentence, does that infer that it cant be used to reroll an irresistible force anymore? the first sentence still sounds as though you could be allowed to do that though.

I don't have the FAQ available so I cannot answer the second question.
However Calaingor's Stave allows you to attempt the spell more than once however the first must be successful to attempt it a second time. If a Mage fails to cast they break concentration and cannot cast again.

Ranu's Heartstone: no, you can still use the dice to prevent a miscast. The sentence was removed because Miscast and Irresistible Force used to be two different rolls - now they are rolled by the same result so the sentence is meaningless.
