You can find my article on the matter HERE.

Just one of GW's marketing schemes, aimed at young kids who cant afford to spend all their pocket money (allowance) on a £18 boxed set.

and for those who want to expand their units by spending a fortune (strange though, orcs come in a box of 17, it would be logical to expand the unit to 24 rather than 23)

Edit: orcs come in a unit size of 19, not 17 thanks for saying

Orcs come in a unit of 19 - 4xsprues of 4 + command grp sprue.
The models are a rip off - the fact they are not multipart should make them cheaper. I dont think even kids will be fooled...

Hmm, they might come in handy in unit expension. Are they going to release thse booster packs for every plastic box?

It would be greatly appreciated if they'd release sort of conversion kits for every army that you could convert lords and heroes from.

I think that GW intend to make expansions with every race.
I like the sound of the 2nd idea GW are doing that with LOTR but for minor carachters, (like the orc with the skull on his head)

those sprues are really compact ..

I think they should at least put 3 of those into one box..
a single sprue in a box suxx..
