Could take another unit of dryads or keep the wardancers. I have'nt used wardnacers yet so I want to try them out..

I suggest that you look at other 1000 point lists and the advice offered there.

Your units are fine, but I think that you have spent far too much on characters.

I have looked at other lists and some suggest only 1 character usually a noble and forgo a wizard. but does'nt that weaken atemtps to dispell magic and leave you with none?

The guys I play against tend to play lots of magic so I think I need some magic defence. or is the best defence offence? or take warhawk riders instead of the spellsinger and go mage hunting?

Your Wild Riders and War Dancers are the deadliest units your fielding. Your opponent will want them dead, and they have MR1. My friends Disc Riders tried four spells in their first magic phase on my war dancers and wild riders and ended up getting two casualties. That's TWO spell casters, one with a bound fireball, and he managed to kill two models. He never had a second magic phase. One disc rider ate a HODA, the other ran off the board from my dryads.
Point being, and especially at low point values, you don't NEED spell casters to have a magic defense. The best magic defense is to kill the mages :P

Another argument for ditching your singer is the WR. They're an expensive unit, and really could use better support. Another dryad unit would be good, but so would glade riders, as you only have one bait unit... :roll:
